DO’s

  • Come here to enjoy the fresh air, the blue skies, the trees, the flowers, the wildlife, and the peace and tranquility
  • Respect the rights, possessions, and property of the association and it's members by obeying the following rules developed for the benefit of all members, their families, and guests
  • Drive or ride no faster than 15 mph within Skyhaven Acres
  • Always close and lock gates when entering or leaving Skyhaven Acres. Provide keys for family members or guests or meet them at the gate to let them in. Instruct those who have keys to the entry gates, to always keep the gates secured (locked) after unlocking gates to gain access. Be sure the chain is around the gate when locking it
  • Always pick up litter or other refuse in, on, and around property and roads. Remove trash as soon as possible to eliminate odors, visual distractions, and to remove items that may attract animals and rodents
  • DON’TS

  • Entry gates should never be left unlocked while unattended
  • Don’t engage in activities or behavior that may be destructive or create a nuisance or hazard. Keep all animals or pets under control and do not let them trespass on the property of others
  • Don’t joyride on the roads within Skyhaven Acres on four-wheelers or motor-bikes, and don’t ride off the road onto other people’s property. Go outside both gates to the public lands for recreational riding
  • Don’t shoot firearms on or across the property or light fireworks within Skyhaven Acres at any time. This includes air rifles
  • Don’t create unnecessary noise. This includes loud parties, loud music, or loud radios
  • Don’t carve on or cut down trees or shrubs unless necessary to build cabins or other improvements. Try to preserve the land, trees, natural vegetation, and soil in their original and natural condition
  • Don’t drive vehicles of any kind on the Davis property beyond the sign where the main road turns south toward the water tank. Hikers on foot are welcome to enter the property at anytime, but a fee permit must be obtained from the Davis family to take vehicles into the area
